María was born in Valladolid and when she was 10 years old, started working as an actress in an amateur theater group. 


Entered the Royal School of Dramatic Arts (RESAD) Madrid, selected by Miguel Narros, where she is encouraged to continue musical studies at the Conservatory, due to her high potential for opera. 


Entered Guadalajara Conservatory, beginning her singing and repertoire studies with Ángeles Chamorro. 


After winning the contest Teatro Sperimentale di Spoleto (Italy), is a scholarship for graduate studies with teachers Brusson Renato, Robert Kettelson, Giovanna Canetti (professor at La Scala in Milan) and Enza Ferrari. 


Winner of the Second Edition of Singing Competition Irún (Guipúzcoa) and Teatro Sperimentale of Spoleto (Italy). It is also a finalist in Operalia, in San Juan (Puerto Rico). 


Today continues her vocal and repertoire refinement with Josefina Arregui and Celsa Tamayo, pianist with whom María has performed many concerts and recitals throughout her career, with all kinds of national and international repertoire.
